As discussed at our Council Meeting last week, we are seeking to extend our Ad Hoc Working Group (AHWG) for Climate for the remainder of the 2023-2025 mandate.
The relevant information is in the attached Terms of Reference. This document also explains that of the original nominees to this AHWG, a small number have remained active to the present time and we are keen they continue.
We are therefore seeking to reconfirm with you those members of the AHWG that are both active and have told us they are keen to serve for a second mandate, and augment the group by a small number of additional persons.
If you have someone already in the AHWG who is active and wishes to continue, please, if you agree for them to continue, reconfirm them using the relevant section of this online form: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/HC2WWY8.
If you do not have anyone on the list and you have someone whose expression of interest you would like to put forward for this AHWG, please also use the form and complete the relevant section.
Please carefully consider the criteria in the terms of reference as we are looking for scientific input.
We are aiming to get together a group of some 6-8 persons, so will aim to choose a group with a good fit overall to carrying out the terms of reference, from among the expressions of interest received.
Please send as appropriate either reconfirmation of your current person in the AHWG or a new expression of interest, by 28 June 2024.
