Dear colleagues,
The European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations, in collaboration with our Full Member – the National Psychological Association of Ukraine, is organizing an online event titled “The War in Europe: What Can Psychology and Psychological Communities Say and Do?”
The event
The event will take place on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 14:00 to 16:00 CET.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war against Ukraine in 2022, the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations, along with many psychology associations in European countries and internationally has firmly supported Ukrainian psychologists and their work.
We are organizing this event to address the ongoing war and explore ways in which psychology and psychological organizations can be helpful in addressing challenges it brings in Ukraine, Europe, and around the globe.
We cordially invite you to participate in this event, which will be open to the broader psychology community. We will share the final version of the program once it is ready and invite you to distribute it among your members and colleagues.
Request to Full Members and Associate Members to share initiatives
Furthermore, we kindly request that Full Members and Associate Members share with us any initiatives related to the war against Ukraine in which your Association has been involved. We are collecting information about initiatives that employ psychological knowledge and the participation of professional associations of psychologists in addressing the challenges brought about by the war.
Please provide your response and/or questions by November 10, 2023 to Robertas Povilaitis, Director, at robertas.povilaitis@efpa.eu.
Best regards,
On behalf of the Board of Directors
