Plenarno predavanje na temu „Čovek kao animal symbolicum: novi uvidi“ održaće

Prof. dr Ivan Ivić je penzionisani profesor. Od 1960. do 2002. predavao je na Odeljenju za psihologiju Filozofskog fakulteta u Beogradu. Specijalizaciju je završio kod Žana Pijažea na Institutu „J. J. Rousseau“ u Ženevi, 1971. godine. Bio je rukovodilac mnogih naučnih projekata. Član je UNESCO-ve međunarodne grupe stručnjaka za evaluaciju obrazovanja. Predsednik je, i jedan od osnivača Obrazovnog foruma (NVO i „Think Tank“ u oblasti obrazovanja u Srbiji). Bio je osnivač i glavni urednik časopisa „Psihologija“ Društva psihologa Srbije od 1967. do 1969. godine. Dobitnik je Nagrade grada Beograda za oblast obrazovanja 2009. godine, francuskog odlikovanja „Chevalier des Palmes Academiques“, 2003. godine, medalje „Jacob Gogebashvili“ Tbilisija 1999. godine i mnogih drugih priznanja. Profesor Ivić je objavio osam knjiga i autor je više od stotinu članaka u domaćim i stranim naučnim časopisima.
Čovek kako animal symbolicum: novi uvidi Ivan Ivić Univerzitet u Beogradu, Srbija Izlaganje se bavi problemima simboličkih sposobnosti čoveka i njihovog razvoja. U izlaganju će biti rezimirani osnovni nalazi iz autorove knjige Čovek kao animal symbolicum, biće data sažeta analiza o valjanosti zaključaka koji su u toj knjizi izvdeneni i biće izloženi neka najopštija nova saznanja o prirodi i razvoju simboličkih sposobnosti u ontogenezi. Simbolička funkcija (tj. sposobnost stvaranja i korišćenja simbola, simboličkih sistema i simboličkih realnosti) je ključna karakteristika ljudske vrste. Razlikovanje simboličkih (semiotičkih) od nesimboličkih (nesemiotičkih) ponašanja ima veliku heurističku vrednost i zato je neophodno dalje preciziranje tih razlika. Pojmovno razlikovanje simboličkih sposobnosti kao šire kategorije (koja uključuje i ikonička i gestovna semiotička sredstva) od jezičkih sposobnosti je veoma važan instrument za analizu razvoja simboličke funkcije i u ontogenezi i u antropogenezi. Definisanje simbiličkih sposobnsti na tri nivoa (nivo pojedinačnih simbola, nivo simboličkih sistema i nivo simboličkih realnosti) je od posebnog značaja za analizu i prirode simboličkih sposobnosti i njihovog razvoja i u ontogenezi i u antropogenezi. U vremenu posle objavljivanja knjige Čovek kao animal symbolicum najveća otkrića se odnose na uslove nastanka i razvoja simboličke funkcije. Do tih otkrića je došlo zbog plodne saradnje psiholoških (pre svega, razvojno-psholoških), neuropsiholoških, evolucionih i genetičkih istraživanja. Novi uvidi pokazuju da je za razvoj simboličke funkcije od suštinskog značaja život u socijalnoj grupi, socijalna interakcija i selektivni pritisci u pravcu jačanja socijalnih sposobnosti i socijalne interakcije i komunikacije. Ta istraživanja kulminiraju u definisanju pojma socijalnog mozga kao jednog od rezultata evolucije čoveka. Na taj način ideja Vigotskog da je simbolička funkcija most izmedju biologije i istorije dobija puni smisao. Ta otkrića, i posebno otkriće socijalnog mozga, su s jedne strane potvrda valjanosti razvojno-psiholoških istraživanja u svetlosti teorije Vigotskog o ontogenezi simboličke fukcije, a s druge strane otvaraju nove mogućnosti za ontogenetska istraživanja simboličke funkcije. Zauzvrat, saznanja o ontogenezi simboličke funkcije daju mogućnost iza bolje razumevanje razvoja simboličkih sposobnosti u antropogenezi i omogućavaju izvesne ekstrapolacije o tom razvoju.
